Sometimes life can surprise you with difficult situations, but it’s in those tough times that we can find the strongest connections.
This is the touching story of Dave, a man who had a kidney transplant, and Monkey – a cat he rеscuеd who became his source of comfort.
Monkey’s story starts in the countryside, where he struggles to find food with other stray cats.
Thankfully, caring people likе Dave and Karen came to the rеscuе, saving the little black cat who was in poor health.
However, the vet wasn’t optimistic about Monkey’s chances of making it through the night. They stayed up many nights, giving Monkey medicine and praying for a miracle.
Luckily, after three nights, Monkey began to get better. Still, the battle was far from finished. A mysterious cough appeared, and he was diagnosed with lungworm.
They had to give him more antibiotics and take care of him for a whole month. Throughout this difficult time, a strong bond formed between Dave and Monkey.
When he finally got better, Dave and Karen couldn’t picture life without Monkey. His fun-loving nature made their days brighter.
Every morning, Monkey would cheer them up likе a fluffy ball of happiness, and his silly behavior never failed to make them laugh.
Then, Dave faced another obstacle – a kidney transplant. The idea of being away from Monkey during such an important moment was scary. Thankfully, Dave was able to take Monkey with him along for the surgery.
Having Monkey around was completely necessary. When getting better, having a furry friend – any furry friend – for company can be really useful.
He’s Dave’s “emotional support cat” as he likеs to say. He was present for every nap every time Dave needed to rest.
